CUANM freezes dues
The Credit Union Association of New Mexico’s Board of Directors has voted to keep membership dues for member credit unions unchanged in 2006 from the amount that was paid in 2005.
“It is the right thing to do when New Mexico’s credit unions have been so loyal and supported their state trade association over the years, said Jack Randall, Chairman of the Board. “We value their membership, and we want them to know we are always looking for ways to share with them any cost savings the Association has.”
The CUANM Board of Directors recently approved a restructuring of the Association that will lessen its tax burden in 2006, prompting the dues freeze. Dues are based on credit union asset size.
