The Credit Union Association of New Mexico is now offering Worldwide Remit^SM global remittance solutions to credit unions in New Mexico and nationwide. Ennio García-Miera is the new Worldwide Remit^SM national sales coordinator for CUANM.

Worldwide Remit^SM is an international person-to-person payment application for credit unions to originate low value payments for cash pickup or electronic deposits at 50,000 locations worldwide. Worldwide Remit^SM allows credit unions to provide global remittances as a new customer service, particularly to the underserved new immigrant community.  This group comprises a significant and rapidly growing consumer group that credit unions are committed to serving. The remittance solution is a product of Bank of New York Mellon.

Worldwide Remit^SM program benefits

• A single low flat fee makes it possible for the Credit Unions to offer an attractive price to members and earn transaction fees
• White label solution allows credit union to brand and marketing the product to enhance its own brand
• Turnkey implementation process with no technical integration and onsite training and support
• Remittance system operator, BNY Mellon, is a regulated global financial institution subject to same regulatory guidelines as credit unions

García-Miera has held executive positions at GMAC Financial and Fannie Mae and has significant executive management experience with specializations in financial services marketing, consumer banking management, consumer mortgage, insurance, investment services and credit card management. A native of Corrales, he is a newly elected councilor for the Village of Corrales.
