Eligible members of Ft. Bayard Federal Credit Union

Employees of the US Government who work in or are paid from Grant County, New Mexico; Employees of the State of New Mexico who work in Grant County, New Mexico; Employees of Grant County, New Mexico; Employees of the Cities of Bayard, Silver City, Hurley and Central, New Mexico; Employees of Roswell Rehabilitation Center at the old Walker Air Force Base and Fort Stanton Hospital, Fort Stanton, New Mexico, who are paid from the Fort Bayard Finance Office, Fort Bayard, New Mexico; Employees of Sharon Steel Corporation, Mining Department, who work in Grant County, New Mexico; Employees of companies operating under contract with Sharon Steel Corporation, Mining Department, who work in Grant County, New Mexico; Employees of Cobre Consolidated Schools, Silver Consolidated Schools, Cliff School, El Grito Head Start School and Western New Mexico University who work in Grant County, New Mexico; Groups of persons with occupational common bonds which are located within twenty-five miles of one of the credit union’s service facilities, which have provided a written request for service to the credit union, which do not presently have credit union service available, and which have no more members in the group than the maximum number established by the NCUA Board for additions under this provision: Provided, however, that the National Credit Union Administration may permanently or temporarily revoke the power to add groups under this provision are not in the best interests of the credit union, its members, of the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund; Employees of Gila Regional Medical Center who work in Silver City, New Mexico; Spouses of persons who died while within the field of membership of this credit union; Employees of this credit union and their immediate families; Persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from the above employment and organizations of such persons.
